A Guide to the Guides

I’ve been building out a collection of guides on this site that are a bit different from regular blog posts. These are living documents that I update over time as things change or as I discover new things worth adding. Think of them as curated reference pages rather than point-in-time posts.

Here’s what’s available:

Business

Atlanta AI Guide - A look at AI in Atlanta: its history, present, and future. Covers the companies, people, and institutions that make up the local AI ecosystem.

Atlanta VC Directory - A directory of venture capital firms and investors in the Atlanta area. Useful if you’re raising money or just curious about who’s active in the region.

Startup Leadership Guide - Lessons from years in startups. Covers hiring, culture, decision-making, and the various challenges that come with building companies.

Python Library Development Guide - A deep dive into how to write great Python libraries. Covers project structure, testing, documentation, and distribution.

Food

Atlanta Restaurant Guide - My personal collection of favorite restaurants around Atlanta, from fine dining to casual spots. Updated as I find new places worth recommending.

Recipe Collection - Recipes from the blog, organized by category. Everything from weeknight dinners to more involved weekend projects.

Leisure

Atlanta MTB Guide - My favorite mountain biking trails in the Atlanta area. Trail descriptions, difficulty levels, and what to expect.

Atlanta Parks Guide - Parks around Atlanta that are worth visiting. Good for walks, picnics, or just getting outside.

Miscellaneous

Aphorisms - Quotes and sayings I’ve come across that are worth remembering.

Blogroll - A collection of blogs and personal websites I enjoy reading. A mix of technical, business, and personal writing.

Bookshelf - Books I’ve enjoyed with brief notes on each. History, biography, business, and more.

You can always find all of these at /guides/. I’ll keep adding to them over time.
